Your No 35 of the 26 instant, including bills in favor of Mr. J H Peemyer, for work done on buildings at Fort Norfolk, and for supplies delivered has been received.
Before the Bureau can approve these bills, be pleased to notice the following points:
1. Quote the Bureaus order for the work named in bill number 4.
2. Have items of the same, the bill being considered very high, if, as is supposed, it is for the repair of roof of residence, and trestle work supporting pipe from Magazine to cistern, named in Bureaus letter of 20 May 67.
3. Send copy of contract (May 21 67)
4. Why are bills numbered 3 and 4 not made out upon the proper forms, and which are herewith returned to be so made.
Bills 1 and are returned until your answer is received.
