Rev. Thaddeus D. Lee

Rev. Lee was a prominent member of the Elks Lodge and a popular minister. He was born in North Carolina in 1865. He lived in Norfolk from 1920 to 1932, residing at 723 Johnson Avenue. He is interred at Calvary with his sister Emma V Kelley. She founded of the Daughters of the Elks fraternal organization (1867-1932). He survived her by just two weeks. Their family plot also contains daughter Buena Berry (1894-1990), and her son-in-law, Leroy Berry (1883-1962). The plot is marked by a sizeable marble monument erected by the Daughters of the Elks.
