Reverend David Jennings

(1861-1937)

Rev Jennings was the popular pastor of the Lambert’s Point First Baptist Church for 38 years. For 18 of those years, he was also the pastor of Morningstar Baptist Church in Beechwood, VA. He was married to Annette Snead Jennings (1868-1949). They are interred together at Calvary. In 1942, both of his former congregations collaborated to raise funds and erect a monument at his gravesite.
