Israel Brown

Israel Brown was born in Newberry County, S.C. in 1873.  He studied medicine and later joined the Army’s Major Medical Corps in 1917.  He served in France for the remainder of the First World War.  He served in the Virginia House of Delegates from 1922 to 1924 as a member of the Democratic Party.  Brown passed away in 1928.
