Electric Railroad Depot, Cape Henry. One of the great historical spots of America, 18 miles from Norfolk and reached by electric line. It was here that the English colonists made the first permanent landing upon the soil of the new world. The old lighthouse (now obsolete) was erected in 1791, the new lighthouse in 1879.
