Norfolk Then & Now

On the left is the Norfolk Police Department’s first paddy wagon. Purchased in 1913, it was reportedly called the ‘Elizabeth Hudson’. At right is a present day patrol car with the new logo just adopted by the department. Both vehicles were photographed at the intersection of Mowbray Arch and Colonial Avenue in Ghent.
