20th United States Infantry Regiment
Stationed at Fort Norfolk 1812 to 1815
The 20th United States Regiment were issued flint lock muskets. There was a shortage of blue wool at the beginning of the war of 1812, therefore the 20th US was issued a drab uniform. The uniform for the 20th was a drab short coat, and white pants. The hat was a shako with a cockade and a white plum. The men were issued their uniform.
Only part of the 20th United States Regiment was stationed at Fort Norfolk.
