Thos. Newton Jn.:   requesting authority of the Executive to deposite the funds collected by him in that district with the Commissioner of the Navy, & c.   Several British men of War Cruizing off the Coast, but none bad been inside the capes for ten days -  no accounts of peace having been made as yet.
