Sir,
In compliance with your order to prepare Estimates for repairing the damage sustained in this Yard, at N. Hospital and Magazine, by the late gale; we respectfully bag leave to submit the following.

“Navy Yard”

“Wharf holding the small shears
This wharf is about 160 feet on the waterline; it was built on piles with joists, covered with 4 inch planks. Nearly all the timber above the piles, is in a decayed state, and will require to be new.
To rebuild it.

The whole of the wharf is carried away, except the piles on which it was built, estimate for replacing it,

All the water line, with some of the other parts of the fence was carried away, and the Bridge for for transporting the powder injured.
