Your letter of the 12th inst has been received.
The further delivery of Bricks for the Magazine at Fort Norfolk may be postponed until the spring, the contractor consenting thereto in writing, if the stipulations of the contract will admit of it. The asset of the sureties should also be obtained to the postponement suggested by you.
