Captain,
Herewith you will receive the copy of a letter from E. T. Montague Esqr. to the Secretary of the Navy dated the 1st inst. having reference to certain lands said to be owned by Mrs. King, and a joining the Navy Hospital near the Yard under your command. This letter has been referred to this Bureau, and to enable me to report upon the subject, you will be pleased to examine the ground and the subject and report accordingly, after conferring with the agent of Mrs. King.
