I send herewith, two copies of the plans of the Hospital Grounds, near the Yard under your Command, one from the plan prepared by Mr. E. L. Young the County Surveyor, 21st October 1850, and the other by Engineer Brown, dated 27th December 1852. These plans differing from each other materially, the Bureau desires an explanation from Mr. Brown in regard to these discrepancies as soon as may be practicable and forward his report to this Bureau. Return the copies now sent to you.
