The letter of the Inspector of Ordinance, of the 26 instant, No 65, reporting the damage to the brick wall surrounding the Magazine and Shell Houses at Fort Norfolk, has been received.
Be pleased to direct the necessary repairs to be made, the cost not to exceed the estimated amount, viz. $500, but reduce as much as possible, and the expenditure noted separately on the monthly returns.
